Art has the power to take the viewer on a transcendental voyage across faraway lands, different times and can even allow one to embody the life of somebody else. Art has the ability to connect people who would otherwise never imagine that they had things in common, art has the ability to remind us of our own humanity, our own magic, our own depth and understanding. Art is the everlasting ephemeral. Art is a mirror, art is a catalyst, art is an emotion, art is an odyssey, art is a phantom limb. I make art because I believe in its power, I make art because it feels just as natural as breathing. I make art because it is a part of me and as long as I am alive, I will keep creating, exploring, and sharing.
